Pittsburgh Penguins (2-0-0) @ Washington Capitals (1-1-0) – Wednesday, October 7th

7:30 PM ET | 12:30 AM London (Thurs) | 8:30 AM Tokyo (Thurs)  – TNT

Two legends of the game square off in an Eastern Conference battle. Sydney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin may not be the stars they once were, but they’ll still bring an audience.

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Fri) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Fri)  – Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu

These are two up-and-coming NHL teams. San Jose has young star power in Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith, and others, while St. Louis seems like it may cause some trouble in the Central Division.

🏈 NFL

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-2)– Thursday, October 8th

8:15 PM ET | 1:15 AM London (Fri) | 9:15 AM Tokyo (Fri)  – Prime Video

Tampa Bay is one of just a few winless teams remaining in the NFL this season. Dallas has been a better team, but the Cowboys are vulnerable. Is this the week Tampa ends up on the winning side?

🏈 College Football

Southern Miss (1-3)  @ Troy (2-2) – Tuesday, October 6th

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Wed) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Wed)  – ESPN2

The first Tuesday game of the college football season could be one for the record books. Both offenses put up nearly 400 yards per game, while Southern Miss’s defense is among the worst in the country.

7:30 PM ET | 12:30 AM London (Thurs) | 8:30 AM Tokyo (Thurs)  – ESPN2

Neither team has had the start it hoped for. New Mexico State turned the tide in its conference opener last week. FIU gets that chance here as this will be its first CUSA matchup of the year.

7:30 PM ET | 12:30 AM London (Fri) | 8:30 AM Tokyo (Fri)  – ESPN

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Atlanta Braves – Tuesday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 7th

6:00 PM ET | 11:00 PM London | 5:00 AM Tokyo (Wed-Thurs) – FS1

Michael Harris II led the Braves to a Game 2 win, which evened the series as it heads back to Atlanta. Now, they’re in a position to potentially take advantage of the home field and push the defending champs to the brink.

9:30 PM ET | 2:30 AM London (Wed) | 10:30 AM Tokyo (Wed)  – FS1

10:00 PM ET | 3:00 AM London (Thurs) | 11:00 AM Tokyo (Thurs)  – FS1

5:00 PM ET | 10:00 PM London | 6:00 AM Tokyo (Fri)  – TBS/truTV

The White Sox shutout Cleveland in Game 1. Depending on the result of Monday’s Game 2, we could be looking at Chicago on the cusp of reaching the ALCS just a year after losing 100 games.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees – Wednesday, October 7th- Thursday, October 8th

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Thurs) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Thurs)  – TBS/truTV

8:00 PM ET | 1:00 AM London (Fri) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Fri)  – TBS/truTV

📚Don’t Miss This

  • Chiefs Survive Raiders Test as Kenneth Walker Emerges - Kansas City remained undefeated after edging Las Vegas 30-27 in a game that exposed both the Chiefs' strengths and some vulnerabilities. Kenneth Walker III was the difference-maker, rushing for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while Patrick Mahomes added two touchdown passes. The Chiefs' offense became more dangerous when Walker's running opened opportunities for Mahomes downfield. Las Vegas mounted a late comeback behind Kirk Cousins, but Kansas City held on after a tense final possession. The result keeps the Chiefs at 4-0 while raising questions about how sustainable their defense will be against stronger opponents.

  • Braves Even NLDS Behind Michael Harris II - Atlanta responded to its Game 1 loss with a 3-2 victory over Los Angeles, tying the NL Division Series at one game apiece. Michael Harris II was central to the win, going 3-for-5 with a triple and a double, scoring once and driving in another run. The Braves also made an unusual pitching strategy work, using Ray Kerr as an opener before Didier Fuentes and four other relievers helped contain the Dodgers. Blake Snell lasted only 3⅔ innings for Los Angeles, while the Dodgers struggled to capitalize on early baserunners. The series now moves to Atlanta with Chris Sale scheduled to start Game 3.

  • Valkyries Put Defending Champions on the Back Foot - The Golden State Valkyries opened their WNBA semifinal series with a convincing 71-60 win over the Las Vegas Aces. Gabby Williams led the Valkyries with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Golden State's defense held the defending champions to their lowest-scoring game of the season. The Valkyries also dominated the glass, outrebounding Las Vegas 52-25 and limiting second-chance opportunities. Their bench produced 27 points compared with seven from the Aces' reserves. For Las Vegas, the loss showed how difficult it will be to rely on A'ja Wilson and the team's established stars when Golden State controls the pace and physical play.
