Nick Kyrgios has been provisionally suspended from tennis after testing positive for cocaine during an ATP 250 event in Mallorca on June 22. The 31-year-old Australian confirmed the result publicly and said he made a “huge mistake,” taking responsibility for the failed test. The International Tennis Integrity Agency confirmed the suspension, which began August 4. Kyrgios could face a ban ranging from three months to four years, depending on how the case is handled and whether the substance is determined to have been used in or out of competition.
