🏀 NBA

Houston Rockets (49-29) @ Phoenix Suns (43-35)  – Tuesday, Apr 7th

11:00 PM ET | 4:00 AM London (Wed) | 1:00 PM Tokyo (Wed) – NBC/Peacock

Houston needs one more win to earn its second straight 50-win season for the first time since three consecutive in 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19. Meanwhile, Phoenix is trying to rally into the playoff field and avoid the play-in, trailing Minnesota for the No. 6 seed by three games.

Atlanta Hawks (45-34)  @ Cleveland Cavaliers (50-29) – Wednesday, Apr 8th

7:00 PM ET | 12:00 AM London (Thurs) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Thurs) – ESPN

Two very similar teams in the playoff race. They come in tied 1-1 in the first two meetings, but Cleveland has five players designated as “game-time decisions.” There’s not enough regular season remaining for Atlanta to close the gap in the standings, but it should be a preview of an entertaining first-round series.

Boston Celtics (53-25) @ New York Knicks (51-28) – Thursday, Apr 9th

7:30 PM ET | 12:30 AM London (Fri) | 9:30 AM Tokyo (Fri) – Prime Video

Second place vs third place in the East. New York holds the advantage in the series but finds itself needing a win here to have a chance to jump the Celtics before the season ends. It’ll be even more difficult because the Celtics have been much better since Jayson Tatum’s return.

🏒 NHL

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Detroit Red Wings –Tuesday, Apr 7th

7:00 PM ET | 12:00 AM London (Wed) | 9:00 AM Tokyo (Wed) – ESPN+

This is basically an Eastern Conference wild-card elimination game. The winner stays within striking distance of Ottawa and the New York Islanders, while the loser faces nearly impossible odds. Columbus has been one of the hottest teams in the league since making a coaching change, while Detroit has struggled to show any signs of life in these types of games over recent weeks.

Minnesota Wild @ Dallas Stars– Thursday, Apr 9th

9:00 PM ET | 2:00 AM London (Fri) | 11 AM Tokyo (Fri) – ESPN+/Hulu

This is locked in as a first-round playoff series in a couple of weeks, but home-ice advantage is on the line this week. It’s the final regular-season meeting between the Stars and the Wild, and they’re only two points apart with about a week and a half left in the season.

Nashville Predators @ Utah Mammoth –Thursday, Apr 9th

9:00 PM ET | 2:00 AM London (Fri) | 11:00 AM Tokyo (Fri) – ESPN+

The two current wild-card teams in the Western Conference face off. Utah is an inspiring up-and-coming team, while Nashville is a huge surprise after selling at the trade deadline.

FC Barcelona (5-1-2) vs. Atletico Madrid (4-1-3) – Wednesday, Apr 8th

3:00 PM ET | 8:00 PM London | 5:00 AM Tokyo (Thurs) – Paramount+

Atletico is the lowest team in the Champions League standings remaining. Can it pull off the upset and continue its Cinderella run.

Major League Baseball

Los Angeles Dodgers (8-2) @ Toronto Blue Jays (4-6) – Tuesday, Apr 7th

7:07 PM ET | 12:07 AM London (Wed)  | 9:07 AM Tokyo (Wed) – MLB.TV/TBS

Early-season World Series rematch. Does it live up to the hype?

Athletics (3-6) @ New York Yankees (7-2)  – Wednesday, Apr 8th

7:05 PM ET | 12:05 AM London (Thurs)  | 9:05 AM Tokyo (Thurs) – MLB.TV/ FS1

The A’s have plenty of young talent, but it’s off to a slow start this season. Facing a good Yankees team is a prime opportunity to play up to the competition.

Detroit Tigers (4-6) @ Minnesota Twins (4-6)  – Wednesday, Apr 8th

7:40 PM ET | 12:40 AM London (Thurs)  | 9:40 AM Tokyo (Thurs) – MLB.TV/ FS1

7:10 PM ET | 12:10 AM London (Fri)  | 9:10 AM Tokyo (Fri) – MLB.TV/ MLB Network

📰 Quick Guide

What Is Post-Quantum VPN Encryption and Why It Matters

Post-quantum encryption is designed to protect VPN data from future attacks powered by quantum computing. Current encryption methods could be broken once quantum systems mature, which creates long-term risk for sensitive data shared today. A post-quantum VPN uses new cryptographic algorithms that resist these future threats while maintaining current performance. Some VPN providers are already testing hybrid models that combine classical and quantum-resistant encryption.

For users, this matters most when handling data that needs long-term protection, such as financial records, corporate data, or private communications. Preparing early reduces exposure to “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks.

🔧 Digital Tip

Most users run all traffic through a VPN, which slows down streaming. Instead, use split tunneling to route only streaming apps through the VPN while keeping the rest of your traffic local. This improves speed and reduces buffering while still unlocking geo-restricted content.
