🔧 Digital Tip
A VPN connection can appear to be working while an IPv6 connection exposes the real IP address. This can happen because some VPNs do not fully handle IPv6 traffic. Before streaming while traveling, connect to the VPN and run an IPv4 and IPv6 leak test. If the test shows the home IPv6 address, disable IPv6 on the device or router, or use a VPN with proper IPv6 leak protection.
