📺️ Sports This Week
🏈NFL
Must Watch: Vikings (6-0) @ Lions (4-2)
Sun: 1:00 PM ET | 10:00 AM PT – Fox
Minnesota’s defense meets Detroit’s offense in a divisional matchup in the NFC North. The Vikings are allowing just 12.3 points per game, but the Lions have one of the best offenses in the NFL, led by quarterback Jared Goff and his 14 touchdown passes and no interceptions this season.
Must Watch: Browns (5-2) @ Steelers (5-2)
Sun: 1:00 PM ET | 10:00 AM PT – CBS
Cleveland and Pittsburgh have shocked many by taking the lead in the AFC North. With Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy leading the Steelers, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will need to continue his early-season tear if Cleveland wants to take sole possession of the division.
Worth It: Ravens (4-3) @ Bills (5-1)
Sun: 1:00 PM ET | 10:00 AM PT – CBS
Lamar Jakcson vs. Josh Allen usually headlines the matchups between these AFC powers. However, with Jackson nursing an injury and Baltimore’s season teetering, the Bills have a chance to deliver a big blow.
Worth It: Chiefs (5-1) @ Broncos (5-2)
Sun: 4:25 PM ET | 1:25 PM PT – CBS
The first meeting of AFC West rivals. Denver is on a three-game winning streak, while Kansas City looks to rebound from a lackluster outing against Seattle and its first loss of the season as running back Kenneth Walker III had his least impactful game since signing in the offseason.
🏀Men’s College Basketball
Must Watch: No. 14 Miami (FL) (0-0) vs. No. 1 Florida (0-0)
Mon: 6:00 PM ET | 3:00 PM PT – ESPN2
A ranked showdown on a neutral floor in Tampa. Malik Reneau and LJ Cason headline the Miami roster, while Florida is loaded with upperclassmen, including seniors Thomas Haugh and Alex Condon, who remain from the Gators’ 2025 championship team.
Must Watch: No. 5 Arizona (0-0) vs. No. 22 UCLA (0-0)
Mon: 10:00 PM ET | 7:00 PM PT – TNT
An old PAC-12 rivalry renewed as a headlining non-conference battle in Las Vegas. A Final-Four bound Arizona squad escaped with a 69-65 victory last season, but both teams have had to reload; Arizona due to NBA departures and UCLA due to a roster reset.
🏀NBA
Must Watch: Thunder (4-1) @ Rockets (5-0)
Sat: 8:30 PM ET | 5:30 PM PT – NBA TV
The Thunder continues its trip through Texas in Houston after splitting games against San Antonio and Dallas. Injuries to key stars led to a letdown in Dallas, and the Rockets will be an even bigger challenge.
Worth It: 76ers (4-1) @ Hornets (3-2)
Sat: 6:00 PM ET | 3:00 PM PT – NBA TV
A loaded 76ers lineup that features Jaylen Brown. Lebron James, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and others head to Charlotte. The Hornets have scored at least 100 points in all three of their wins, and this one could require even more than that to secure a victory.
Worth It: Thunder (4-1) @ Cavaliers (3-1)
Mon: 7:00 PM ET | 4:00 PM PT – NBC Sports Network
Two of the NBA’s top teams. This game will show us where the Cavs stand as well as if the Thunder can still be an elite team with all its injuries.
🏈College Football
Must Watch: No. 22 Arizona (6-1) @ No. 13 Texas Tech (6-1)
Sat: 12:00 PM ET | 9:00 AM PT – ESPN
After Texas Tech’s loss to Cincinnati last week, both these teams are hanging on to hope in the Big 12 title race. Texas Tech’s hole at quarterback surfaced in that game, and Arizona has won four in a row since a loss at BYU.
Must Watch: No. 17 Florida (5-2) @ No. 3 Georgia (6-1)
Sat: 3:30 PM ET | 12:30 PM PT – ABC
Florida has already pulled off a few upsets this season and thrown other seasons into chaos. It will be much more difficult this time: on the road against potentially the best team in the country.
Worth It: No. 25 Wisconsin (5-2) @ Iowa (5-2)
Sat: 12:00 PM ET | 9:00 AM PT – Fox
Here is this week’s prototypical Big Ten fight. Both teams have struggled to score in recent years, and this season has been no different. Expect an intense defensive battle to reach the upper-mid tier of the conference.
🏒 NHL
Worth It: Golden Knights (9-4-1) @ Bruins (9-3-1)
Mon: 10:00 PM ET | 7:00 PM PT – NHL Network
The defending Western Conference champs visit the East Coast to face one of the early surprises of the NHL season. Both teams have been rolling offensively, scoring nearly four goals per game.
Worth It: Oilers (9-2-2) @ Rangers (7-6-1)
Sun: 6:00 PM ET | 3:00 PM PT – NHL Network
The Rangers were a great early story, but the injury to goalie Igor Sheshterkin derailed their hot start. Now, they’ll host one of the best teams in the West, led by superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. And the Oilers' threat goes well beyond its accomplished duo.
Background TV: Jets (4-5-3) @ Hurricanes (10-2-2)
Sun: 1:00 PM ET | 10:00 AM PT – NHL Network
A struggling Winnipeg team visits the defending Stanley Cup champions. The Jets are still adjusting to life without Connor Hellebuyck in goal, while the Hurricanes look like an early favorite in the Eastern Conference.
The Big One: Big 12 Elimination Game
No. 22 Arizona @ No. 13 Texas Tech - Sat - 12:00 PM ET - ESPN
The Big 12 championship race will get more clarity this weekend as No. 22 Arizona visits No.13 Texas Tech in a defacto elimination game in Lubbock. It’s been two years since they’ve faced off on the gridiron, with Texas Tech storming back from a 15-point deficit behind running back Tahj Brooks.
Defending Big 12 champ Texas Tech entered the season as a favorite to repeat, despite some turmoil and changes at the quarterback position. The Red Raiders still had plenty of talent offensively and one of the country’s top defenses.
The talent around the quarterback position has stepped up, but the scoring has been down in most games. Last week was Texas Tech’s first loss of the season, and it barely escaped its only naked matchup so far against Houston.
Meanwhile, Brent Brennan has created a sleeper program in Tucson. The Wildcats won nine games a year ago and finished ranked 17th in the final polls. This season, even with a loss to BYU, Arizona has built on that success, boasting units that rank in the top-5 in the conference on both sides of the ball.
Quarterback Noah Fifita, a true dual threat, is the face of the team, ranking second in the Big 12 in passing yards. Texas Tech will need its pass rush, led by Big 12 sacks leader AJ Holmes, to make life difficult for him, especially after Cincinnati’s JC French tortured them last Saturday.
For Texas Tech, this matchup hinges on how well its offense can keep the pace against an Arizona defense that allows 16.7 points per game. For Arizona, it;s about proving that the next steps it has taken and its progress this season is legitimate by upsetting the defending champ on the road.
Stat: 40. 2 - Average points per game by Arizona since Week 2. That will be challenged this week, as Texas Tech allows just 20.43 so far this season.
Pick: Texas Tech wins by 4
The home crowd and Arizona’s 1-13 all-time record in Lubbock don’t bode well for the Wildcats and Texas Tech leans into the narrative to secure a narrow, down-to-the-wire win.
